Denver Health has been recognized as a leader in LGBT healthcare by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The physicians and staff are dedicated to providing high quality and welcoming healthcare for all. The healthcare team cares for LGBT patients in family and internal medicine, mental health, and pediatric services.
Denver Health’s LGBT Center of Excellence offers open and affirming healthcare to transgender and gender non-conforming populations. Healthcare providers at nine family health centers and the main campus provide patient navigation, assistance in updating gender identification on credentials, behavioral health and general primary care. Denver Health also offers gender reassignment surgery (confirmation surgery) options.

The patient navigators are dedicated to ensuring lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender patients are supported through their healthcare journey. If you would like additional support, patient navigators are available to attend healthcare appointments with you and your advocates as you become familiar with then Denver Health healthcare system.
