Counseling

The Transgender Center of the Rockies provides trauma-informed, gender-affirming individual and group counseling for transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals, focusing on supporting mental health and substance use challenges. Our clinicians bring a diverse approach to therapy, with various training and backgrounds rooted in trauma-informed care and the shared experience of being queer themselves. Clinicians work collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans aimed at achieving their goals. Accepted payment options include Medicaid, and a sliding scale is also available.

PrEP Navigation

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a medication that significantly reduces the risk of contracting HIV. Approved for use by the CDC, PrEP is available by prescription from a physician. The Transgender Center of the Rockies partners with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Vivent Health, and our sibling organization, Denver Element, to engage with the LGBTQ+ communities in the Denver area to raise awareness of and assist with navigating PrEP.

Contact Bee the Vibe Program Manager Zack J. (any pronouns) to connect with PrEP navigation services, (720) 382-5900

TCR offers one-on-one discussions on PrEP through Denver Element to help individuals decide whether it is a strategy that suits their sexual health life, as well as providing logistical assistance, connecting to care, and funding the cost of medication.
